Abandoned Farm house on the Sold
Murray Plains
My first oil study for 2010 .
I came across these old buildings as I was
driving along on a dirt road that was little
more than a track on the way to the
Murray River.

The dove in this painting landed on my friend's
palette getting paint everywhere as he was busy
painting away.

I was fortunate to have this painting
chosen as best in the Oil/Acrylic
section of the Kidman Exhibition in
Kapunda. My friend Alan Ramachandren's
work was judged overall winner with a
beautifull watercolour of a local farmhouse.

"Southport" Oil 90x90

Southport is a Surf Life Saving Club
near the mouth of the Onkaparinga River
in South Australia. This was a training
excercise carried out by the
Australian Surf Rowers League

This is a painting of the wetlands
just down the road from my home
in Para Hills. These were the first
of many wetlands created by the
Salisbury Council.

at first light waiting until the light was just right
before taking the photo that I worked from
Who would ever believe that this little stream
becomes such a mighty river.

This painting is of a subject that I came across
on the way to an exhibition in Clare.
It is just on the outskirts of Auburn in the Clare Valley.
