The morning sunlight and
blue sky reflecting in the drying
out wetlands caught my eye as I
was searching for a new subject paint.

" Abandoned" in a sea of Salvation Jane

This old tip truck was left to rust amongst
a heap of old farm equipment and fields of
Salvation Jane.

Exhibition. The painting is the view from
Quarrry Rd. looking away from Clare.

The gorge is near Wilmington in
South Australia in the lower Flinders
Ranges. A walking trail takes you through
to the other side of the Flinders
emerging at Mambray Creek.
This Painting will be on display at my

Horse trough. I went to this location
a number of times until I was happy

Sadly it is no longer possible to see this view
of the rear of the Station as the grassy area is
now covered in housing.

Painting is of the wetlands near my home
As you can see the water is starting to
recede and this part of the wetlands will
be completely dry towards the end of summer.

Walking along a beach in Tasmania
I noticed a large patch of sky blue pebbles.
It looks like that someone may have
painted the underside of their boat
and spilled the cobalt blue paint. Not
my usual type of painting but a lot
of fun.

"Afternoon Shadows" I wanted to see
the way the foreground rocks would look.

Artist must at some time do a painting
of the South Australian Flinders Ranges.
This was painted from a photo that I took
a few years ago. Must go back one day and
paint a series.

When I saw the way the light
fell on this old shed I just coudln't
resist painting it. I've passed this shed
a number of times but this time the
light was spot on.

"Working On The Frederick G"
This is a painting of a couple of men
working on a barge in the Port River
It was a rather hot bright day and these
fellows were waiting for the crane to lift
the old timbers onto the wharf.
