"Working On The Frederick G"
This is a painting of a couple of men
working on a barge in the Port River
It was a rather hot bright day and these
fellows were waiting for the crane to lift
the old timbers onto the wharf.

Love this! My father-in-law used to work as a marine surveyor in Port Adelaide and I feel he could be one of these men - complete with the white beard. I think he would have loved it as well, only he passed away 3 years ago.
